GRANDMASTER-LEVEL TRAINING SUMMER CAMP
The Grandmaster-Level program, only available at our Glen Rock location, is the ICA Summer Camp experience designed to provide advanced students with a tight-knit environment to focus on improving their chess skills, learning alongside similarly advanced peers and guided by the expert instruction of Grandmaster Elshan Moradiabadi.
Requirements: A USCF/FIDE Rating of 1600 or higher.
Designed to facilitate strong improvement in advanced chess strategy and critical thinking skills, Grandmaster Elshan Moradiabadi’s Master Camp is the perfect program for talented youth with a rating over 1600+ with aspirations of achieving the National Master title. The classes focus on illuminating three key aspects of the game:
1. Important techniques in thematic positions
2. Calculation and imagination
3. Practical decisions in unclear positions
The classes at our camp are designed to be lecture/interaction intensive, providing a unique learning experience in which students learn directly from and engage with GM Moradiabadi. Students expand their understanding of chess by working through difficult technical positions and complicated tactical combinations in a game-like setting, simulating the thought processes of a real chess game.
Furthermore, campers participate in self-evaluation of their work on a weekly basis, providing introspective insights into their progress and performance throughout the week.
Don't miss this is unique opportunity to sharpen your knowledge of the game in an intensive, fun week of advanced chess training!
