New Year’s Blitz Tournament

This year we will try to make use of our new location and try something different in holding a new year’s blitz tournament Saturday December 31st at our Glen Rock location.
The details are as follows:
The tournament will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday December 31st at our Glen Rock location (registration closes at 10 a.m. on that day). The time control will be five minutes with no delay! Take kings, and clock move!
There will be three sections:
Open
1st Prize $200
2nd Prize $100
3rd Prize $50
Plus: TU2000 & TU1800 $50 each
Entry fee: $25 ($30 on the day of tournament)
U1600 Open
1st Prize $200
2nd Prize $100
3rd Prize $50
Plus: TU1400, TU1200, TU1000, TU800 $TU600 $50 each
Entry fee: $25 ($30 on the day of tournament)
Unrated section
1st Prize ???? (surprise!)
2nd Prize ???(surprise!)
3rd Prize ?? (surprise!)
Entry fee: $15 ($20 dollars day of tournament)
We are also looking to create a festive atmosphere so there will be PRIZES FOR BEST COSTUMES!!!!!! Either dress up to look your best or put on your “Halloween best” to help us ring in the new year.
