Description

Using the FAN-Math Problem Solving and the Art of Problem Solving textbook, this class will go deep into various algebraic and certain geometric topics that typically show up in 7-8th grade curriculums. We will mostly focus on the second half of the AoPS book in order to better understand how to solve problems that show up in advanced classes in school as well as Olympiads. This class will cover systems of equations, word problems, geometry of circles and triangles, percentages, ratios, and more. . 

Homework will be required for this course and will be assigned every few weeks. Additionally, the classwork and class notes will be attached with each week’s homework, as a way for students to have something to look back on for their week’s work.
