Description

Introduction to addition and subtraction through the use of pictures and word problems, understanding of basic shapes and patterns through the utilization of drawings/diagrams, introduction to pictorial graphs and how we can use charts to express information, simple multiplication and division, as well as the introduction to some of the common units used in math (time, money, length) through word problems. Homework is required.
