Curriculum and requirements:
Prealgebra book is required for this class.
However, this book alone does not provide all necessary strategies in the Art of Problem Solving craft. Teachers will also use various materials mostly from the Advanced level Olympian sources.
The pre-assessment and ongoing assessment are required in this class. The pre-assessment will be emailed to each student individually as soon as she/he signs up for class. The ongoing assessment is performed by teachers during the class and through the homework assessment. Students are responsible for downloading assigned files from the google drive for class or for homework and they also need to be able to write their solutions to the homework clearly. It is also student’s responsibility to upload their solutions to homework in the homework folder weekly and on time.
